Christopher an internationally experienced M&E, Public Policy, Performance Evaluation & Improvement Consultant with 10+ years of routine monitoring of programmes: Labour market routine data (unemployment etc.) from the CCMA and StatsSA, SADC agricultural indicators (FAOSTAT), Education indicators (Department of Education), and District Health Information System (DHIS) of the Dept of Health. Also, NGO-tailored indicators. Specifically, he has vast experience in the following;
- Designing M&E Plans, and Frameworks and operationalising them. the case of SA health, education, and labour market indicators.
- Protocol/proposal development, the case of USAID/CDC guidelines, sampling, executing evaluations, analysis and writing statistical reports. Triangulating HIV programme data and Health Management Information Systems
- Developing indicators along the PEPFAR HIV 909090 Cascade (linkage to care, retention and viral suppression)
- Setting data baselines, realistic targets and projections (short and medium term), District Implementation Plans (DIPs), and the case of Health and Education data.
- Data quality assessment, bottleneck analysis, and setting quality Improvement plans, the case of SA health, education, and labour market indicators.
- Writing timely M & E reports (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual). the case of SA health, education, and labour market indicators.
- Facilitating tailored M&E sessions in an organisation I have worked in, includes hands-on with excel to compute indicators and interpret [I am a Trainer of Trainers associate for Wits CLEAR in M&E and use the skills]
