The purpose of this research was to assess the achievements of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in order to ensure effective and efficient absorption or employment of graduates in the workplace. The effectiveness and efficiency of WIL should, inter alia, be evaluated against the WIL policies, regulations, and frameworks, against which the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) holds Post School Education and Training (PSET) entities accountable.
